From Boston to the White Mountains, Providence to Salem, Ted turns a spotlight on things that fascinate, amaze, and inspire. Join the smaller club of New Englanders who know some really cool facts and stories about their region. Join Lisa Crispin, Circulation Librarian and facilitator of the library’s Cookin’ the Books, as she demonstrates a couple of delicious summer recipes. Led by Kathi Gariepy, a former special needs preschool and kindergarten teacher, who has been gardening since she was a child.

Learn which perennials will work best in your gardens and discuss how to keep them in good form. Featured Book: The Making of Asian America: A History by Erika LeeĬhapters for this meeting: Chapter 10 – Chapter 12 (72 pages) Instead of discussing the entire book, the group will read a select number of chapters per month to allow for more in depth conversation. This group continues the work started with the library’s antiracism series. HYBRID Diversity Equity and Inclusion Book Group will lead the group in making a summer reading themed book bag imprinted with a vinyl transfer.
Featured book: Families Romanov by Candace Fleming This book group discusses contemporary books, both fiction and non-fiction, led by Library Director Tina Stewart. Learn a little Wilmington history! Meet in the back of the library. The district contains some of Wilmington’s finest 18th and 19th century buildings, as well as a late 19th century Town Common, the Town’s first burial ground and the site of the Town’s first meeting house.
